Fullstack Software Engineer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial automation client seeking a talented Fullstack Software Engineer to join their development team in München. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with approximately one day per week in the Munich office and the remainder remote.

Our client focuses on digital manufacturing solutions, combining decades of domain expertise with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and simulation technologies. You'll be part of a team building the next generation of industrial software systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and enhancement of internal applications for process digitization and automation alongside the engineering team
• Build React-based applications that communicate via REST APIs with Django backends and microservices
• Work within a containerized architecture that includes AI/ML modules and automated physics simulations
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation to deployment
• Collaborate with various technical departments in a dynamic environment to understand and implement user requirements

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in a STEM field or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software development and web development
• Strong proficiency in Python/Django (or other ORM frameworks, or substantial SQL experience)
• Strong proficiency in Javascript/React (or similar frontend frameworks)
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and English communication skills
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills and assertiveness
• Structured working style with a high degree of initiative and self-direction
• Docker experience is highly desirable
• ERP system knowledge is a plus
