Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & SaaS Integrations

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud technology client seeking a Full Stack Engineer to own their SaaS integrations framework and customer-facing integration experience. You'll define what excellent third-party integration looks like: customers connect new vendors in minutes, see real-time data flow visibility, and handle credential rotation, reconnects, and backfills independently without support intervention.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Building new integrations. Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs—authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, schema drift—and invest in the integrations framework itself, including testing harnesses and scaffolding, so each subsequent integration requires a fraction of the effort of the first.
• Working AI-augmented. Use AI daily across your full workflow—exploring unfamiliar codebases and third-party APIs, prototyping approaches, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests, and producing documentation. Push the boundaries of what agentic tooling can accomplish and apply judgment about where AI raises velocity versus where human oversight maintains quality.
• Building integration management experiences. Create the interfaces customers use to connect, configure, and trust their integrations: health and status visibility, actionable error states, credential and key rotation, and clear feedback when something needs attention.
• Designing for self-service. Build self-service capabilities into the framework from the start—backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics that customers and internal teams run themselves without escalation.
• API-first development. Ensure capabilities are fully available through APIs, not just the UI, so both humans and agents can drive the platform.
• Implementing features end-to-end. From proposal through specification and implementation to maintenance. You're expected to propose features you believe would add value, not wait for direction.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and owning features in production
• Strong TypeScript skills, including modern frontend work—React preferred
• Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with genuine enthusiasm for ramping up in Go quickly
• Real experience designing and consuming REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs with all the complexity that entails: auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, breaking changes
• Comfortable across the stack—you may lean backend or frontend, but you can own a feature from database through to interface
• Working proficiency in SQL
• Experience developing solutions in the cloud using cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• User-facing instinct for operational tooling—you care whether error messages actually tell someone what to do next
• AI-augmented working style—you already use AI tools across your engineering workflow and can discuss concretely what you've gained from them
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles
• Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS applications
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated; confident, thorough, and tenacious

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks as a core product component
• Experience with cloud or SaaS billing data—cloud provider cost exports, AI vendor billing data, marketplace billing, or the FOCUS specification
• Experience with Google BigQuery, or with data pipelines and orchestration tooling (Dagster, Airflow)
• Experience building AI-powered product features (LLM integration, intelligent automation)
• Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

This is a remote, full-time position available to candidates in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel. Contractor arrangements may be available in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive with market rates for this role and location.
