Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization expanding its digital banking and financial services platform across Asia-Pacific. Our client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their product engineering team in Taiwan.

This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week on-site. You'll work with a distributed, international team building consumer-facing financial applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete product features spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and database layers
• Develop customer-facing and internal workflows across onboarding, account management, payments, rewards, travel services, foreign exchange, support automation, KYC, and risk operations
• Transform ambiguous product requirements into functional systems with intuitive user experiences and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, mobile engineers, backend specialists, and AI teams to launch rapidly and iterate post-release
• Create internal tooling and automation to reduce manual operational overhead and enable team scalability
• Maintain ownership beyond initial release through monitoring, debugging, learning, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Proven full stack engineering experience with demonstrable shipped products in production environments
• Comfortable working across the entire stack: frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production systems
• Strong frontend development skills using React, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
• Solid backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, authentication systems, third-party integrations, and service reliability
• Product-minded thinking with the ability to simplify complex user workflows
• Ability to execute quickly in ambiguous environments and take end-to-end ownership of outcomes
• Strong English communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration with global teams
• Track record of personally building, shipping, or scaling meaningful products or platforms—not just tenure at recognizable companies
