Freelance Annotator (English) – AI Trainer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology client seeking Freelance Annotators fluent in English to support project-based AI training initiatives. This remote opportunity is based in Saudi Arabia and offers flexible, part-time engagement for professionals interested in contributing to advanced artificial intelligence development.

Responsibilities

When projects are available, you may be invited to participate in annotation tasks that help AI systems understand and process information more accurately. Your work will involve:

• Reviewing provided data including text, images, or videos according to project specifications
• Labeling and classifying content based on detailed guidelines
• Evaluating AI-generated content for quality and factual accuracy
• Comparing multiple AI responses to determine preferred outputs
• Identifying and flagging factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate, or unclear material
• Following complex instructions with strong attention to detail
• Meeting project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate based on project requirements, not a guaranteed workload.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in any field
• Strong logical thinking, fact-checking, and reasoning abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand complex instructions
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions when needed
• Genuine interest in technology and artificial intelligence
• Strong written and spoken English at C1+ proficiency level
• Comfortable with part-time, non-permanent project-based work
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Pay

Compensation is paid per accepted task. Your rate depends on the qualification tier you achieve and how efficiently you complete tasks while maintaining quality standards. Because payment is task-based, a faster pace can increase your effective hourly rate—the client estimates this can reach the equivalent of up to $15/hr for qualified contributors working efficiently. Quality standards must be maintained regardless of speed.
