Forward Deployed Engineer – UK

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing healthtech organization that is transforming how clinical care is delivered through AI-powered automation. Our client supports healthcare professionals globally by reducing administrative burden and improving patient outcomes.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between our client's platform and their most strategic enterprise customers. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the complete deployment lifecycle—from initial integration through to a fully operational, self-sufficient implementation. You'll work directly with clinical teams and IT stakeholders to make the technology actually work in real-world healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise healthcare customers, including EMR integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, data pipelines, and security configuration
• Collaborate directly with clinical and operational stakeholders to design and build custom workflows that align with actual care delivery processes
• Write code to implement solutions—not just specifications or documentation
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, diagnosing problems across the technology stack and coordinating resolution with engineering teams
• Build tooling, scripts, and automation to make deployments faster, more reliable, and scalable
• Translate field insights into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams
• Document processes, train customer teams, and build internal knowledge bases to enable customer independence

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years in forward deploy, implementation engineering, or customer-facing technical roles—ideally in SaaS, healthtech, or enterprise software
• Strong coding ability in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages
• Working knowledge of integration protocols: REST APIs, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and ideally FHIR/HL7
• Proven ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end without established playbooks
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working embedded with enterprise customers or health systems is a strong advantage
• Located in or willing to relocate to London, UK
