About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global technology consultancy that partners with Fortune 500 enterprises on business transformation and AI implementation. Our talent team is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with client organizations, diagnose operational challenges, and build working AI-powered prototypes that drive measurable adoption and ROI.

This is a highly autonomous, consultative role for someone who can operate at the intersection of strategy and execution—mapping workflows, redesigning operating models, and shipping functional proofs of concept without waiting for an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end workflow diagnostics to identify root causes of operational friction, handoff failures, governance gaps, and tooling mismatches
• Redesign target-state operations for leaner workflows, clearer decision rights, and effective human-agent collaboration using AI
• Design comprehensive operating models including organizational structure, roles, governance, cross-functional interaction models, and value realization frameworks
• Establish performance baselines and build measurement frameworks to track improvement throughout engagements
• Identify value gaps in stalled AI implementations and diagnose where technology deployment has outpaced business adoption
• Build working, AI-powered prototypes using LLM APIs, platform-native features, and low-code/no-code environments
• Use functional demos and prototypes as the primary tool for stakeholder alignment within actual client processes
• Evaluate where AI practically enhances workflows versus where it serves as a distraction, providing grounded, realistic guidance
• Support rollout of new tools and workflows with process design and change management expertise
• Design enablement materials that connect technology implementations to intended operating models
• Support engagement scoping and conduct diagnostic assessments for value capture, implementation readiness, and adoption strategy
• Contribute reusable frameworks and tools to improve practice qualification and scoping

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent roles within enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two areas: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering, or go-to-market execution
• Proven ability to build structured, evidence-based arguments that influence and align senior stakeholders
• Hands-on experience building functional AI-powered workflows, automations, and prototypes—able to ship working solutions, not just design them
• Ability to rapidly scope and build working proofs of concept within engagement constraints to move skeptical stakeholders
• Comfort working autonomously without a dedicated engineering team; able to discern when to build independently versus pulling in resources
• Strong diagnostic mindset with dedication to understanding root causes before jumping to solutions
• Deep accountability to measurable outcomes and impact rather than static deliverables
• Bias toward early proof—preferring working prototypes over standard roadmaps
• Ability to operate in a forward-deployed capacity, integrating deeply with client engineers, product leads, and operators
• Experience in large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns, or technology rollouts highly preferred
• Based in Brazil with ability to work remotely
