About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Sales Team Manager to lead a high-performing outbound sales team in London. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office, where you'll drive performance, optimize conversion rates, and build a culture of continuous improvement.

Our client supports small businesses across the UK with innovative funding solutions. As Sales Team Manager, you'll be responsible for coaching your team, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies that directly impact revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and performance-manage a sales team to consistently achieve individual and collective targets
• Conduct data-driven 1:1 coaching sessions using funnel analytics and conversion metrics to build tailored development plans
• Analyze performance trends and design high-impact sales strategies that optimize team execution
• Provide active floor coaching through call shadowing, role-playing, and objection handling exercises
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI tools and modern sales software to reduce manual tasks and streamline workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally as a key liaison for new initiatives and process improvements
• Track team performance using CRM dashboards and present actionable pipeline insights to senior leadership
• Champion best-practice initiatives and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance policies
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding new sales team members

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in high-volume sales leadership or a senior player-coach role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret conversion metrics, call data, and performance trends
• Track record of building, testing, and implementing successful sales strategies based on data
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
• Confidence using Generative AI and modern sales tools to automate workflows and boost productivity
• Excellent relationship-building skills with proven cross-functional collaboration experience
