About the Role
The Financial Controller position at 52TEN is a pivotal role in our expanding finance department. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee financial reporting, month-end close processes, and investor distributions while leading an accounting team of five. This role requires someone who can bring order to complexity, thrive in a high-growth environment, and build scalable systems that support our national portfolio growth.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with executive leadership to improve systems, strengthen internal controls, and scale finance operations
- Ensure timely and accurate investor distributions
- Develop and train accounting team members on best practices and procedures
What You Bring
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within the real estate or manufacturing industries
- CPA designation with active membership in good standing
- Proven track record of building and scaling finance operations in high-growth environments
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and mentor team members
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
