Field Implementation Consultant I (English & French Speaking)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential hospitality technology client seeking a Field Implementation Consultant to join their operations in Paris. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing service delivery, requiring fluency in both English and French. You'll travel throughout the region providing on-site implementation support for point-of-sale systems used by restaurants, hotels, and bars.

This position offers genuine ownership over implementation projects and the opportunity to directly impact customer success in a fast-growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations throughout the Paris region to facilitate hardware implementation and provide technical support
• Plan and deliver on-site training sessions for business owners, management teams, and staff on POS system functionality
• Guide customers through setup, implementations, and integrations at their locations
• Install and troubleshoot networking devices including routers and wireless access points
• Provide remote implementation support via video conferencing when appropriate
• Document customer installation details, network schematics, and service records
• Report implementation progress to team leads and coordinate scheduling with internal stakeholders
• Manage your schedule efficiently, collaborating with coordination teams to optimize site visit planning
• Represent the client organization professionally to new and existing customers
• Apply consistent troubleshooting methodologies to identify issues and deliver prompt solutions
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, and management teams to enhance customer experience

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in technical support or customer-facing implementation roles
• Technical background with strong problem-solving capabilities and natural curiosity
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry and delivering value through customer interactions
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
• Capability to manage multiple implementation projects at different stages simultaneously
• Collaborative approach working alongside sales teams pre- and post-sale to ensure smooth customer onboarding
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Preferred qualifications:

• Technical or hardware installation/support background
• Networking fundamentals knowledge
• Experience with POS systems, SaaS platforms, or software implementation
