About the Role
As a Family Law Attorney, you'll provide comprehensive legal services to clients in areas including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, adoption, and other family law matters. You'll manage your own caseload while collaborating with experienced attorneys to deliver results-oriented counsel and representation.
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in contested and uncontested family law matters
- Prepare legal documents, motions, and court filings
- Conduct client consultations and case strategy sessions
- Appear in court and handle negotiations with opposing counsel
- Manage discovery processes and case timelines
- Maintain client communication and file documentation throughout proceedings
What We're Looking For
- Active South Carolina law license and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience practicing family law
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
