Fabric Administrator

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential higher education organization seeking a Fabric Administrator to join their technology team. This is a remote position available to candidates across most U.S. states. Our talent team is partnering with this client to find an experienced systems administrator who can monitor, configure, and support critical business applications while maintaining the highest standards of data security and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, configure, manage, and improve various enterprise systems to support organizational needs
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including user management, password resets, data modifications, and ad-hoc reporting
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement new products and service rollouts
• Fulfill application support requests escalated through the help desk
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and charts to explain complex topics such as data flow and system utilization
• Translate user requests into workable requirements, document specifications, and test cases
• Support a Service Level Agreement (SLA) based administrative model in partnership with development resources
• Maintain and develop system and process documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce maintenance costs and improve efficiency
• Communicate issues and opportunities across all organizational levels, from end users to senior management

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in an application support role
• Proven experience administering, configuring, or supporting a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, including user management, system configuration, reporting, workflow administration, and troubleshooting
• Strong ability to analyze business, operational, or technical issues and document findings, risks, dependencies, and recommended solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information through written documentation, presentations, meetings, and training sessions
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects and support activities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing changes that improve efficiency, quality, user experience, or compliance
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace for remote work
