About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential European marketplace client seeking an Expert in Dutch and Belgian Comics. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, offering the opportunity to combine deep collector knowledge with commercial impact in the growing online auction space.

In this role, you will curate high-quality comic auctions, assess submissions from sellers, and create engaging listings that attract collectors and enthusiasts across the Netherlands and Belgium markets. You'll work within a collaborative, fast-paced digital environment while continuing to develop your expertise in the Dutch and Belgian comics landscape.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate comic book submissions to ensure quality, authenticity, and market relevance
• Create compelling auction lot listings with accurate titles, descriptions, images, and value estimates
• Curate auctions strategically to drive bidder engagement and strong auction performance
• Maintain fairness and transparency throughout the submission acceptance and rejection process
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to expand and diversify the auction catalogue
• Continuously build expertise in Dutch and Belgian comics market trends, valuations, and collector interests

What We're Looking For

• Genuine passion for Dutch and Belgian comics with strong interest in the collector market
• Solid foundational knowledge of comics, collectibles, or broader comic culture
• Commercial mindset with some experience in sales, retail, e-commerce, or customer-facing roles
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote digital environment
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and online platforms
• Strong team spirit and collaborative working style
• Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English (required)
• Willingness to learn and grow expertise continuously
