What This Role Involves
As an Electrical Project Engineer with Mydpr in Dallas, you'll own the design, planning, and execution of electrical systems and infrastructure projects. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet rigorous industry standards and client expectations, while managing timelines and budgets to ensure project success.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and comprehensive project plans
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors, and clients to maintain project alignment
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and manage budgets to stay within scope
- Conduct site assessments, inspections, and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed project proposals, technical specifications, and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Identify technical obstacles and develop effective engineering solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pathway to licensure
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical project management or engineering roles
- Thorough understanding of electrical codes and industry standards
- Working knowledge of electrical design software and CAD platforms
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication abilities
- Demonstrated capability to lead technical teams and manage concurrent projects
