Design Project Manager (Civil Engineer)

Mwaa is seeking a Design Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to join our team at Dulles International Airport. This full-time position offers an opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure projects at one of the nation's premier aviation facilities.

Role Overview

As Design Project Manager, you'll lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects at Dulles International Airport. This role bridges technical engineering expertise with project management discipline, ensuring that infrastructure initiatives meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements while supporting the airport's operational excellence and long-term strategic vision.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage design phases and coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Review design deliverables for compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Monitor project progress and identify risks, implementing corrective actions as needed

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility in Virginia
• Proven experience managing design and construction projects
