Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential online education organization seeking a virtual Patient Care Technician instructor to teach the next generation of healthcare professionals. In this remote teaching role, you will:
- Deliver virtual instruction on fundamental patient care topics including anatomy, physiology, hygiene techniques, patient mobility, and mental health support
- Guide students through both theoretical concepts and practical applications of patient care procedures
- Motivate and inspire students to develop clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to healthcare service
- Engage with learners through the organization's virtual learning platform
- Provide mentorship to help students become competent Patient Care Technicians
What We're Looking For
- Active certification as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Nursing Assistant (NA) – required
- Nursing studies or credentials – desirable
- Hands-on experience providing patient care in long-term care facilities or hospital settings
- Strong knowledge of Patient Care Technician techniques and clinical procedures
- Passion for teaching and commitment to quality education
- Virtual teaching experience – desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection for remote instruction
- Spanish language fluency preferred for this U.S.-based position
