Technical Account Manager, ANZ

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential cloud security organization in their search for a Technical Account Manager based in New Zealand. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing company that works with enterprise clients globally, helping them secure their cloud and AI infrastructure.

In this role, you'll serve as the primary technical liaison for strategic customers throughout the ANZ region, guiding them from initial onboarding through long-term operational excellence. You'll bridge the gap between customer needs and internal teams, ensuring a seamless experience while driving adoption and success.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on deployment strategies, operational best practices, and help establish centers of excellence for customers
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer questions and escalations, coordinating with support, product, and engineering teams
• Build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders ranging from technical practitioners to C-level executives
• Develop customer Success Plans that outline critical goals and key performance indicators, then guide customers in achieving these objectives
• Track and measure customer achievement against KPIs, reporting progress both internally and externally
• Advocate for customer needs across product management, support, and other departments
• Identify opportunities for expanding platform usage across customer organizations
• Maintain regular communication cadence with customers to drive adoption, retention, and satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Manager, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, or Customer Success Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of cloud services, architectures, and security best practices
• Cloud service provider certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, and associated security considerations
• Legal right to work in New Zealand without requiring visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record building and maintaining relationships with enterprise clients while driving customer success and exceeding performance targets
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving them to resolution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
