JD is seeking a skilled Disponent / Dispatcher (m/w/d) to join our logistics operations team in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, coordinating vehicle dispatch and managing the efficient flow of shipments across our transport network.

What This Role Involves

In this full-time Disponent / Dispatcher position based in Oberhausen, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing vehicle dispatch operations. This role requires strong German language capabilities and involves optimising delivery routes, managing logistics documentation, and ensuring reliable execution of our transport schedules across the North Rhine-Westphalia region.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch vehicles according to delivery schedules and customer requirements
• Monitor shipment progress and maintain communication with drivers and customers throughout the day
• Optimise transport routes and schedules to achieve maximum operational efficiency
• Process and manage transport documentation, shipping manifests, and logistics records
• Handle urgent requests and resolve logistical challenges as they arise
• Track vehicle utilisation and maintain accurate dispatch activity records

What We're Looking For

• Fluent German language proficiency, both written and verbal communication
• Proven experience in logistics dispatch, vehicle coordination, or transport operations
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Experience with logistics management software and dispatch systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with transport teams
