Director, Product Management, Customer Security Outcomes

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Director, Product Management, Customer Security Outcomes. This is a fully remote U.S. role reporting to senior product leadership. You will own the product vision and strategy for security operations services, sitting at the intersection of customers, security operations experts, and technology to deliver measurable, differentiated outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and document an aligned vision and strategy for threat detection, risk/exposure, and cyber operations services based on market and customer insights
• Establish customer-driven security operations outcomes and measures across managed investigation, managed response, threat hunting, and advisory services
• Partner with Customer Security Operations and Product teams to implement features that deliver industry-leading security outcomes and operational alignment
• Serve as a customer-facing thought leader, participating in executive advisory boards and managing critical incidents and escalations
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to position the organization as an industry leader in security operations by setting standards for achieving measurable security outcomes

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes
• 8+ years of experience in detection and response with a background in delivering technology-led managed services at scale
• Proven operational experience running a Security Operations Center (SOC) with deep credibility among industry SOC leaders
• In-depth understanding of the security market, vendor landscape, automation, and threat detection and response technologies
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex situations into data-driven plans with strong B2B experience within a growth-stage business
• Exceptional customer-facing skills and executive communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing strategic product roadmaps that leverage generative AI to automate incident workflows and accelerate customer security outcomes
• Tech-forward expertise embracing automation, AI, and modern methodologies such as agentic workflows
• Strong background viewing services through a product lens to effectively influence core product management and engineering teams
