About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential localization services organization with a strong presence in the life sciences sector. Our client is seeking a Director of Business Development to be based in their Paris office. This is a strategic revenue-generating role where you will leverage your industry expertise to build new client relationships and drive business growth within the life sciences market across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to generate new revenue and close new business opportunities
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities with full ownership from lead generation through contract signature
• Build new client relationships through cold calling, internet research, networking events, trade shows, and direct marketing
• Present solutions through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and online sessions
• Manage pricing, contractual negotiations, and client expectations throughout the sales cycle
• Coordinate with internal teams to quote, manage, and deliver projects profitably
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of service capabilities, benefits, and competitive positioning
• Maintain strategic relationships with clients and ensure exceptional customer support

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of sales and strategic business development experience within the life sciences or localization industries
• Proven track record selling large-scale localization technology deals
• Strong commitment to integrity, quality delivery, and exceeding client expectations
• Ability to multitask and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues, and business partners
• Team-oriented mindset with appreciation for diverse perspectives and backgrounds
• Financial acumen and sound decision-making capabilities
• Results-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, France
