About the Role
Sequel Youth Services operates residential and community-based programs throughout Arizona dedicated to delivering individualized therapeutic care. As part of our Flagstaff team, you'll work directly with adolescents in group home and therapeutic foster care settings. This full-time position is central to our mission of helping young people and their families reach their full potential through compassionate, structured support.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision and daily care to residents within group homes and therapeutic foster placements
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions developed by clinical staff
- Support clients with daily living activities including hygiene, nutrition, household responsibilities, and personal routines
- Build positive, stable relationships with the young people in your care and model healthy social behavior
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any concerns accurately and consistently
- Participate in team meetings and coordinate with clinical supervisors, social workers, and family members
- Assist clients in developing life skills, coping strategies, and emotional regulation techniques
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic living environment following all organizational policies
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and fingerprinting clearance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine compassion and patience working with young people in therapeutic settings
- Willingness to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Physical capability to provide hands-on support and assistance as needed
- Commitment to following therapeutic protocols and maintaining professional boundaries
- Prior experience in behavioral health, youth services, or residential care a plus
