As an Immigration Paralegal/Legal Writer at Alma, you'll sit at the intersection of law and storytelling. You'll prepare and refine the case materials, petitions, and supporting narratives that move immigration matters forward — translating complex facts and credentials into compelling, accurate documentation. This is a full-time position based in the US, ideal for someone who cares deeply about doing meticulous legal work that genuinely changes lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and polish persuasive legal narratives and petition letters for a range of immigration cases.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation, forms, and exhibits with a high degree of accuracy.
- Research case-relevant facts, credentials, and evidence to strengthen each application.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to gather information and ensure every filing tells a clear, complete story.
- Track deadlines and maintain organized case files throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a paralegal, legal writer, or in a comparable role — immigration exposure is a strong plus.
