Deployment Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI infrastructure organization based in Berlin that is building critical compute capabilities across Europe. Our talent team is seeking a Deployment Specialist who will take end-to-end ownership of data center site selection, cluster design, and physical deployment of GPU infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role that combines technical execution with strategic relationship management. You'll map the European data center landscape, negotiate with providers, design cluster configurations, and lead the physical installation and commissioning of compute infrastructure that powers demanding AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate data center sites across Europe, assessing both commercial viability and technical suitability for GPU cluster deployment
• Design cluster architectures that meet compute requirements and translate specifications into concrete procurement plans
• Own the full deployment lifecycle: from hardware procurement through on-site installation and commissioning
• Build and maintain relationships with data center providers, hardware vendors, and infrastructure partners across European markets
• Maintain current market intelligence on available capacity, pricing trends, and provider capabilities
• Coordinate across internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure delivery against agreed timelines
• Navigate both technical requirements and commercial negotiations to secure optimal data center agreements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience bringing clusters online in production data center environments
• Engineering background (civil, structural, or related discipline) with several years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to own complex projects from initial scoping through final delivery
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders including providers, vendors, and internal technical teams
• Fluency in both technical evaluation (power, cooling, networking) and commercial assessment (pricing, terms, risk)
• Established network within the data center or hardware infrastructure ecosystem is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Located in or willing to relocate to Berlin
