Cybersecurity Working Student (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy based in München. We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Working Student to support critical client engagements in risk management, identity and access management, DevSecOps, and AI security. This is an excellent opportunity for a student enrolled in an IT-focused program to gain hands-on experience while contributing to real-world security projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of projects related to Risk Management, Identity & Access Management, DevSecOps, and AI Security for client organizations
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and solutions
• Participate in internal research and development projects in the field of cybersecurity
• Document security measures, prepare reports, and present findings
• Support the team in the practical development of innovative ideas and emerging topics within cybersecurity
• Conduct research tasks to prepare client presentations and proposals

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program with an IT focus, such as (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline
• Solid foundational knowledge in IT security
• Ideally, initial exposure to common security tools and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, DORA, eIDAS 2.0)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Passion for cybersecurity and digital identity topics
• Team player who is highly motivated, adaptable, communicative, and proactive
• Enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and taking ownership of responsibilities
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
