Cybersecurity (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy in München, and we're seeking talented professionals to join their growing practice. In this role, you will:

• Advise clients on implementation and optimization of cybersecurity solutions across their technology environments
• Analyze complex processes and systems with particular focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) frameworks
• Support and guide cybersecurity transformation initiatives from strategy through execution
• Develop practical, actionable solutions to prevent and mitigate cyber threats
• Plan, monitor, and manage complex sub-projects within larger cybersecurity programs
• Identify new application areas and collaborate with clients to develop effective security solutions
• Take ownership of internal development initiatives that strengthen the firm's capabilities

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks professionals at two experience levels:

Consultant level: 1–2 years of professional experience
Senior Consultant level: 2–5 years of professional experience

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related discipline with strong academic performance
• Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity solutions in corporate environments
• Deep understanding of business processes in IT and IT security domains
• In-depth knowledge of cloud systems architecture, characteristics, and security requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with confidence in client-facing situations
• Team-oriented, highly motivated, adaptable, communicative, and proactive working style
• Willingness to travel for client engagements
• Fluency in both German and English at C1 level or higher
