Cyber Security Engineer with Security Clearance

About This Role

We are representing a confidential government contractor seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Fairfax, VA. This is a full-time position requiring an active TS/SCI clearance.

Our client provides mission-critical information management solutions and needs a talented security professional to support their operations. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for mission-critical systems
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats
• Ensure compliance with federal security standards and frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices
• Document security procedures, configurations, and incident reports

What We're Looking For

• Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, or operations
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies
• Experience with security tools for monitoring, detection, and response
• Understanding of network security, encryption, and authentication methods
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or similar are highly valued

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $135,000 – $155,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
