CX Apprentice – Data

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital commerce organization in Northwich that is seeking a CX Apprentice - Data to join their customer experience team. In this role, you will support the Customer Service department in transforming operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive better customer experiences.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting core customer service operational performance reporting across the department, including divisional headcount, budgets and key performance metrics such as CSAT and APH
• Collecting, cleaning and validating data from multiple internal and external sources across customer experience operations, including carrier claims, returns, post-dispatch communications and customer contact systems
• Building and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to track department-wide metrics, from workforce and budget data to claims and returns performance
• Writing and running SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases in support of departmental reporting
• Identifying trends and patterns across headcount, budget, claims, returns and delivery data, flagging root causes and opportunities for improvement
• Supporting leadership and wider teams with ad hoc analysis to inform decision-making, resourcing and client reporting
• Maintaining data quality standards across operational data sets and helping resolve data quality issues as they arise

What We're Looking For

This is a fully funded Data Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship lasting 12-18 months, subject to learner progress plus End Point Assessment. You will report to the CX Analytics and Performance Director.

Our client is seeking candidates with:

• A genuine interest in data and how it drives business and operational decisions
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn SQL, Power BI and other data tools
• Comfort working with numbers and translating data into insight for non-technical audiences
• GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or working towards Functional Skills Level 2
• Ability to proactively manage your own learning, working closely with your training provider to meet course deadlines and complete tasks on time
