Customer Care Specialist – Inbound Phone Support (Remote in North Carolina)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential roadside assistance technology company seeking Customer Care Specialists to join their remote inbound phone support team. This is a fully remote position available exclusively to candidates residing in North Carolina.

Our client operates 24/7 and has multiple full-time shift opportunities available. You'll be connecting distressed motorists with service providers using proprietary dispatch technology, turning stressful roadside situations into positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Use proprietary technology platforms to coordinate service delivery with a nationwide provider network
• Assess customer needs, build rapport, and deliver tailored solutions in real-time
• Monitor service requests through completion and proactively address any delays or issues
• Communicate service expectations and next steps clearly to customers
• Take ownership of customer issues and think creatively to ensure positive outcomes
• Maintain composure and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of services, technology, and processes to confidently assist customers

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in customer-facing roles resolving issues over the phone
• Ability to quickly and calmly engage customers, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• Strong track record handling high-volume phone calls while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude with a consultative approach
• Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills are a plus
• Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions where confidential information can be handled securely
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download / 2.5 Mbps upload)
• Prior work-from-home experience and appropriate equipment preferred
• Must currently reside in North Carolina
