CRM Solutions Architect (Australia | Remote)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential digital consultancy seeking a CRM Solutions Architect to join their Australian team on a fully remote basis. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical implementation, architecting CRM solutions that transform how organizations manage their customer relationships across marketing, sales, and service functions.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll lead discovery sessions with clients, design data models and system integrations, and translate complex business requirements into executable technical specifications. You'll work alongside development teams and consultants to deliver end-to-end CRM implementations, from initial architecture through to user acceptance testing.

Important: Candidates must be Australian citizens or hold full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Host discovery sessions following proven methodologies to understand client needs, processes, and technology landscapes through workshops and independent research
• Design and document CRM architectures, data models, and integration flows that align with client business processes and automation requirements
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation including requirements specifications, ERDs, functional specifications, data transformation documents, and user stories with acceptance criteria
• Lead complex technology configuration projects and integration initiatives, working closely with developers and consulting teams on CRM platform rollouts
• Define integration mapping and logic, manage deep-dive client meetings, and establish testing scenarios for system integrations
• Conduct technology audits and provide recommendations on best practices for CRM usage and optimization
• Plan and execute data migrations, including analyzing data structures, reviewing data quality, defining mapping logic, and conducting quality assurance
• Scope and document project deliverables, write statements of work, and assist in pre-sales activities including demonstrations
• Perform UAT to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and acceptance criteria
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to both internal teams and clients; mentor junior team members on implementation best practices
• Monitor platform feature releases and integration partner updates, communicating relevant changes to internal teams and clients

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 2+ years designing effective architectures, developing data strategies, leveraging APIs, and creating seamless integrations for complex business challenges
• 3-5 years in business or systems analysis
• 3+ years in a digital/technical agency or consultancy in a consulting or specialist role, working with clients through the full lifecycle (consulting, solution building, implementation, training)
• 5+ years overall professional experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Experience with big data and integrating systems via APIs or custom-built solutions
• Strong background in system architecture and integration (direct CRM experience is beneficial but not mandatory for candidates with robust technical architecture skills)

Technical Skills:

• Extensive ability to read, understand, and compile technical documentation (API documentation, ERDs, functional specifications)
• Demonstrated understanding of networks, databases, and technology systems
• Understanding of agile methodologies with ability to adapt to changing processes
• Solid understanding of CRM platforms and customer experience principles

Education:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, BComm Honours, BBusSci, Masters in Business, or equivalent)
