Sr. People & Talent Operations Partner

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing, fully remote technology company in the HR and talent space. Our client is seeking a Senior People & Talent Operations Partner to join their lean People & Culture team and take ownership of HR systems, compliance, and automation across their global operations.

This is a high-impact role where you'll own People Operations as a product—building intelligent, automated workflows that allow the People function to scale efficiently while maintaining a human touch where it matters most. You'll work directly with the Head of People & Culture with genuine ownership from day one.

Location: Anywhere in the world (must have at least 4 hours daily overlap with UK timezone)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain smart, automated, and AI-enabled people journeys from pre-boarding through off-boarding that create capacity for personalized support where needed
• Serve as technical owner and orchestrator of the HR tech stack, ensuring tools are unified, integrated, and continuously improved
• Own the non-Finance aspects of payroll, invoicing, contract administration, and compliance across approximately 35 countries
• Manage data privacy, recordkeeping, and the day-to-day relationship with the organization's Employer of Record vendor
• Configure and troubleshoot hiring tools to enable hiring managers to run independent candidate searches
• Create and maintain documentation that supports effective self-service for both team members and AI agents
• Partner with People leadership to maintain appropriate boundaries between automated and human-touch processes
• Foster an inclusive, supportive culture while upholding organizational values

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated experience building and owning sophisticated automations using platforms like Zapier, n8n, or Make.com as core components of an integrated HR tech stack (this is critical—not just using AI tools day-to-day)
• Proven track record managing payroll, compliance, or HR operations across multiple countries, ideally through an Employer of Record or mixed EOR/direct entity model
• Deep, hands-on HRIS experience (HiBob experience is a significant plus, as is experience with HR system assessment or migration)
• Product mindset: you build for end users, gather feedback, and iterate based on real needs
• Success working in high-autonomy, async-first, fully remote environments
• Ability to balance operational rigor with genuine empathy when handling sensitive employee matters
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Candid, opinionated approach with excellent feedback and stakeholder management abilities

Most candidates will have acquired these skills over approximately five years of relevant experience, though we prioritize what you've owned and your measurable impact over exact years in role.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever
• Experience with EOR providers like Remote, Deel, or Oyster
• HRIS implementation or migration project experience
• Experience supporting teams through organizational change

Compensation & Benefits

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €56,520 - €70,650 annually, plus Share Appreciation Rights (SARs)
