The Opportunity

The Wickaninnish Inn is seeking an accomplished Cook to join its kitchen team. This is a full-time role ideal for culinary professionals who thrive in a refined dining environment and want to be part of a heritage property known for exceptional cuisine and service. Working with fresh local ingredients and established culinary standards, you'll develop your skills whilst contributing to the guest experience that defines Relais & Châteaux hospitality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards
• Maintain organised, clean, and safe kitchen stations
• Collaborate with the culinary team to support meal service during dining periods
• Handle food with attention to quality, consistency, and presentation
• Adhere to food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
• Contribute to inventory management and assist with stock rotation
• Support the kitchen during both à la carte and function services

Who We're Looking For

• Culinary training or demonstrable kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
