The Opportunity

The Wickaninnish Inn welcomes guests from around the world seeking an authentic West Coast experience. As our Guest Service Representative and Reservations Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective guests and a key touchpoint throughout their stay. You'll manage inquiries, process reservations, and ensure every guest interaction reflects the luxury and warmth our guests expect from a Relais & Châteaux property. This role combines relationship-building, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences in our Tofino location.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages from prospective guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Process and manage reservations using our property management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Answer questions about rooms, amenities, local attractions, and dining options available at The Wickaninnish Inn
• Upsell room categories, packages, and ancillary services to enhance guest spending and experience
• Maintain detailed guest profiles and preferences to personalise future interactions
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless arrivals and stays
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and special occasions with discretion and problem-solving initiative
• Manage cancellations, rebookings, and rate adjustments in accordance with property policies

What You Bring

• Proven experience in hospitality, guest services, front desk, or reservations roles
• Excellent telephone, email, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine passion for hospitality and an instinct for guest satisfaction
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations
• Knowledge of Tofino, the West Coast, and regional attractions is a plus
• Flexibility to work schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
