Commercial Terrain – Indépendant (Freelance)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech client seeking an independent field sales professional in the Rennes area. In this freelance role, you will:

• Conduct cold prospecting among cafés, restaurants, retail shops, salons, and local businesses throughout your assigned territory
• Identify merchant needs, present appropriate payment solutions, and deliver product demonstrations
• Support merchants through activation and build your own portfolio of active clients
• Generate your own leads independently—no prospect lists are provided

What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Minimum one year of cold prospecting experience (field or telephone) within the past six years
• Comfortable with proactive commercial outreach to business professionals
• Autonomous, persistent, reliable, and results-oriented
• Available at least three days per week
• Valid SIRET number at start date (French freelance registration)

The client provides initial training, demonstration equipment, and sales materials. A regional contact remains available for ongoing support. You will organize your schedule independently. This is a freelance position; travel and associated expenses are your responsibility, and no company vehicle is provided.

Pay

This is a commission-only freelance opportunity with no fixed salary or ceiling. Compensation structure includes 50% immediate commission on equipment, software, and first-month merchant transaction activity, plus 20% recurring revenue on ongoing merchant activity paid monthly for up to 24 months. As an example only, an active merchant generating approximately €15,000 in monthly payment volume could yield over €1,000 in cumulative commissions over 24 months. Actual earnings vary based on products sold, merchant activation rates, actual transaction volumes, and sustained merchant activity. No minimum income is guaranteed.
