Commercial Terrain – Indépendant (Freelance)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an independent field sales professional to support merchants across the Pau region. In this role, you will:

• Conduct cold outreach to cafés, restaurants, retail shops, salons, and other local businesses within your assigned territory
• Identify merchant needs, present appropriate payment solutions, and deliver live product demonstrations
• Guide merchants through onboarding and activation while building your client portfolio
• Manage your own prospecting efforts—no lead lists are provided

What we're looking for

Our client needs a proactive, results-driven sales professional with:

• At least one year of cold prospecting experience (field or telephone) within the past six years
• Comfort with direct, proactive sales outreach to business owners and decision-makers
• Strong autonomy, persistence, reliability, and goal orientation
• Availability for at least three days per week
• A valid SIRET number at the time of engagement

This is a commission-only freelance role with no fixed salary or ceiling. Compensation includes immediate commission on hardware, software, and first-month transaction volume (50%), plus recurring revenue on ongoing merchant activity (20%) for up to 24 months. Example earnings: an active merchant processing approximately €15,000 monthly could generate over €1,000 in cumulative commissions over 24 months. Actual earnings vary based on product mix, activation, transaction volume, and merchant retention. No minimum income is guaranteed.

The client provides initial training, demonstration equipment, and sales materials. A regional contact will support you. Your territory is assigned based on location and availability. You manage your own schedule; travel and associated expenses are your responsibility, and no company vehicle is provided.
