About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking Commercial Attorneys for a contract engagement focused on applied legal work at the intersection of law and emerging technology. This remote position allows you to leverage your transactional expertise while contributing to an innovative project that draws directly on real-world commercial contracting practice.

This role involves reviewing agreements, marking up drafts, and applying established legal positions—work that mirrors the day-to-day responsibilities of in-house counsel. No prior AI experience is required; your legal domain knowledge and commercial contract expertise are what matter most.

Responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and similar documents in accordance with established playbooks and policies
• Analyze contract drafts to identify key issues and determine applicable positions and acceptable fallback outcomes
• Draft clear, reasoned written explanations detailing the rationale behind each redline or revision
• Apply advanced contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions knowledge to real-world legal documents
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency of standards and interpretations throughout the engagement
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards of legal writing and contract review quality
• Work independently within a remote, deadline-driven project environment

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional practice at a law firm or as an in-house attorney, focusing on contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Deep familiarity with commonly negotiated commercial provisions, such as limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection
• Proven ability to synthesize complex legal concepts and deliver clear, actionable written analyses
• Demonstrated sound judgment and a high level of accuracy in contract review and interpretation
• Expertise in technology transactions considered a strong plus
• Adaptability and drive to contribute to a high-impact, innovative legal project in a confidential setting
