Collections Specialist

Prime System Solutions is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan on a full-time basis. This position is central to our credit management operations, offering the opportunity to develop expertise in accounts recovery and maintaining strong client relationships in the financial services sector.

About This Position

In this role, you will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts and coordinating with clients to ensure timely payment of obligations. Working full-time in Lahore for Prime System Solutions, you will handle accounts of varying complexity—from routine payment follow-ups to escalated cases requiring negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management. Your work directly impacts the company's cash flow and financial sustainability. This is a hands-on position where your communication skills and professionalism will be tested daily as you balance the need for decisive action with client retention.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients proactively to discuss overdue accounts and request payment of outstanding balances
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement plans tailored to each debtor's circumstances
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of all account interactions, communications, and collection activities in company systems
• Monitor payment progress and conduct systematic follow-ups on past-due invoices and accounts
• Investigate payment disputes, identify discrepancies, and facilitate resolution with clients
• Track performance against collection targets and contribute to departmental metrics and reporting
• Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant financial regulations and company policies
• Document communication attempts, agreements, and outcomes for audit, compliance, and future reference

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Proven experience in customer service, accounts management, collections, or a similar client-facing role
• Fluent in verbal and written English and Urdu communication
• Working proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and standard business software applications
• Ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy when discussing sensitive financial matters
• Strong organisational, time-management, and prioritisation skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet and track performance targets and project deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn company systems and procedures
