About the Role
This DoD SkillBridge Military Intern (Golf Course Maintenance) position with Tournament Players Club gives transitioning service members hands-on experience maintaining a championship-caliber golf course. Working at TPC Boston in Norton, you'll gain practical exposure to the agronomy, equipment, and environmental practices that keep a premier private course in tournament-ready condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily turf care across greens, tees, fairways, and roughs on a par-72 championship layout
- Assist with mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and overall course preparation
- Learn and apply integrated pest management, water quality, and resource conservation practices
- Operate and help maintain golf course maintenance equipment safely
- Contribute to upholding the course's award-winning playing conditions and natural New England character
Qualifications
- Active-duty service member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Genuine interest in golf course maintenance, turf management, or agronomy as a career path
- Willingness to perform physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow safety and operating procedures
- Able to work on-site in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts
