About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization in their search for a Clinical Trial Manager to oversee end-to-end study operations at the country level. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clinical trials meet timelines, budget requirements, and quality standards. You'll coordinate feasibility processes, manage site relationships, drive patient recruitment strategies, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main country-level contact for global study teams and coordinate with local cross-functional teams
  • Implement local country and site feasibility processes, including proposal and validation of study targets
  • Plan, develop, and execute timelines and activities for study start-up in collaboration with study teams and acceleration centers
  • Lead country and site-level patient recruitment strategy and risk mitigation efforts
  • Manage problem solving, risk management, contingency planning, and issue escalation
  • Assess and set up vendors during study start-up period
  • Ensure Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) data is current and complete; manage eTMF documentation and system access
  • Validate and review study-related materials including protocols, informed consent forms, and patient materials
  • Verify eTMF completeness at country and site level
  • Prepare investigator sites to conduct clinical trials and verify Clinical Trial Package documentation
  • Review site monitoring visit reports, action items, and ensure timely escalation and documentation
  • Coordinate database locks and query follow-up to ensure timelines are met
  • Ensure inspection readiness and provide support for health authority inspections
  • Coordinate and complete Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions (CAPA) for country audit findings
  • Support submissions to health authorities and ethics committees, including amendments and follow-up
  • Coordinate local study team meetings and manage site relationships
  • Perform site closure activities and post-close out procedures as needed
  • Maintain awareness of country regulatory requirements and evolving regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences or equivalent field
  • Minimum 4 years of industry-related experience in clinical trial management
  • Deep understanding of GCP, ICH Guidelines, and local regulations related to clinical research
  • Knowledge of clinical research processes, regulations, and methodology
  • Experience leading or actively participating in cross-functional teams, task forces, or global initiatives
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills with independent decision-making ability
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language where applicable)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, CTMS, eDC, and eTMF systems
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert in therapeutic areas, systems, or processes
  • Occasional local travel required (less than one month per quarter)
