Clinical Pharmacist – Fully Remote | Upto $120/hr

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a fully remote contract role. Our client is building advanced clinical decision-support systems and needs experienced pharmacists to evaluate medication safety protocols and clinical documentation.

This is a remote contract position open to candidates based in India. You will work independently to review complex medication scenarios, verify clinical accuracy, and ensure proper documentation standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Confirm interaction, dosing, and contraindication findings against complete patient medication lists and medical records
• Identify missed drug interactions and outdated patient data that may lead to incorrect dosing recommendations
• Update clinical assessments based on current safety alerts and new clinical information
• Evaluate completeness of clinical documentation, ensuring all active medications, laboratory values, and comorbidities are properly considered
• Distinguish between clinically permitted and clinically appropriate medication choices for specific patient populations
• Flag suboptimal drug selections based on individual patient factors
• Verify that clinical conclusions are properly reflected in order updates, prescriber notifications, and chart documentation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD and active pharmacy license, or equivalent clinical verification experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional pharmacy experience; inpatient or hospital setting strongly preferred
• Frequent use of Lexidrug or Lexicomp (weekly or more) in current or recent clinical role
• Demonstrated expertise using drug interaction databases, IV compatibility resources (such as Trissel's), and detailed drug monographs
• Strong working knowledge in at least 2–3 specialized clinical areas relevant to your practice setting
• Ability to assess whether correct clinical findings were properly implemented in practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with data annotation, clinical labeling, or healthcare AI evaluation projects
