About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential managed healthcare organization seeking a Clinical Extern to join their clinical services team in Gabon. This externship provides hands-on exposure to clinical operations within the managed care industry, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals to develop practical skills and industry knowledge.

This is an excellent opportunity for current clinical students to gain real-world experience in healthcare administration and managed care processes while earning course credit through an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Observe and shadow clinical preceptors to gain practical experience in managed care operations
• Participate in various clinical projects and initiatives under supervision
• Learn about processes and functions specific to the managed care industry
• Develop clinical knowledge through exposure to healthcare delivery systems and clinical services
• Follow procedures and instructions provided by preceptors and managers in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Become familiar with various clinical service functions and workflows

What We're Looking For

• Current enrollment in an accredited clinical program (nursing, pharmacy, public health, or related healthcare field)
• Must be eligible to receive course credit for participating in an externship program
• Strong interest in learning about the managed care and health insurance industry
• Ability to observe, learn, and apply feedback in a professional healthcare environment
• Willingness to follow established procedures and clinical guidelines
• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
