About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Global Sales Planning Manager to join their Revenue Intelligence team. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic go-to-market initiatives and drive planning excellence in a fast-paced, market-leading environment. Our client serves thousands of organizations globally and is actively scaling their AI-powered platform capabilities.
This position is based in the United States and reports to the Global Planning Lead within Revenue Intelligence.
Responsibilities
Planning Tooling & Enablement
- Drive and implement Workday Adaptive Planning capabilities for sales planning and territory quota-setting processes
- Collaborate with external implementation vendors to educate them on critical planning elements and ensure requirements are met
- Curate views within the Sales Planning tool with Regional Sales Operations to support fiscal year planning cycles
- Interpret, validate, and analyze data outputs using dashboarding, modeling, and data visualization techniques
- Develop data products and views for planning and target setting across Revenue Operations and other organizational teams
- Manage regional reporting requirements, eliminate duplication, and ensure consistent use of centralized dashboards
- Support reconciliation efforts across various data sources and drive automation of analytics in support of planning
- Provide insights into program effectiveness and investment outcomes relative to planning assumptions
Go-to-Market Planning Excellence
- Partner with the Global Planning Lead to drive a globally consistent planning schedule and cadence
- Understand potential hierarchy structural changes and incorporate strategic initiatives into planning frameworks
- Establish clear and consistent cross-functional vocabulary
- Integrate a globally consistent capacity model
- Align outputs and insights to corporate strategic pillars, finance budget processes, and investment trade-off implications
Key Success Metrics
- Curate and develop reporting templates and dashboards for management teams
- Coach and enable stakeholders to derive actionable insights from analytics
- Demonstrate adaptability in learning new software and tools to enable better decision-making
- Successfully manage multiple projects while remaining coachable and responsive to stakeholder preferences
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in analytics, operations, or planning roles within technology or software industries
- Proven experience developing and implementing Workday Adaptive Planning
- Deep understanding of sales processes, quota and territory modeling, target setting, and compensation models
- Advanced Excel skills leveraging PowerBI, advanced formulas, financial modeling, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of and experience writing SQL; SOQL knowledge is a plus
- Experience automating workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, and running SQL queries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to capture stakeholder needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Proven ability to work cross-culturally and across business units as a team player
- Ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment and create scalable processes
