This is a unique opportunity to apply your professional engineering expertise to evaluate and shape advanced technical systems. You'll leverage your real-world knowledge in structural design, transportation, water systems, and site development to create authentic evaluation materials—no AI background required.

Responsibilities

• Design authentic civil engineering evaluation tasks reflecting real-world complexity across structural, transportation, water, and site development domains
• Source, generate, and curate technical documentation including engineering drawings, geotechnical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and code references
• Develop challenging technical problems requiring nuanced constraint reasoning and regulatory compliance
• Determine accurate engineering solutions ensuring all relevant regulatory and geometric constraints are satisfied
• Craft comprehensive evaluation rubrics for assessing technical correctness and code adherence
• Create and validate realistic data files (CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets) representative of typical project documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to iteratively refine task clarity, realism, and evaluation standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional civil engineering experience across diverse project types
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of licensure strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing technical documentation, code-compliance materials, and design specifications
• Experience sourcing and interpreting regulatory codes and integrating them into technical solutions
• Proficiency generating or reviewing complex technical artifacts such as drawings, reports, and project data sets
• Strong analytical skills for reasoning through intricate constraints and delivering real-world solutions
• Excellent written communication skills for authoring clear, comprehensive materials
• Ability to start within 24–48 hours of onboarding and meet weekly minimum submission requirements
