Chief of Staff (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential robotics organization in Munich that is building industry-ready dexterous manipulation systems for Physical AI applications. This company recently completed a strategic spin-off and is entering an exciting growth phase with existing customers and product-market fit.

As Chief of Staff, you will work directly with the leadership team as a key operational and strategic partner during this critical transition period. This is a high-ownership role where you will operate across strategy, technology, product, business, and operations—taking on the organization's most important and ambiguous challenges and driving them from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted thought partner to leadership and drive the company's highest-priority initiatives
• Own the leadership operating rhythm, including strategic planning, leadership meetings, and company-wide priorities
• Take ownership of complex cross-functional problems where no obvious owner exists—from problem definition through to execution
• Build processes, tools, and systems that enable the organization to scale effectively while maintaining speed and quality
• Drive strategic and operational initiatives across technology, product, commercial functions, hiring, and organizational development
• Build and maintain a clear view of company performance, translating data into actionable insights and priorities
• Partner with leadership on headcount planning, resource allocation, partnerships, fundraising, and other critical decisions
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities proactively, designing pragmatic solutions before issues escalate

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in highly demanding, fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, consulting, investment, strategy, operations, or similar leadership roles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides
• Excellent project and stakeholder management capabilities
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and diverse teams
• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
• High level of ownership, initiative, and personal accountability
• Comfort working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
• Ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Fluency with project management, collaboration, and productivity tools

Bonus qualifications:

• Exposure to corporate spin-off or carve-out processes
• Experience working in or with startups or scale-ups in robotics, deep-tech, or hardware-intensive industries
