About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential health and wellness organization in their search for an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing transformation across multiple established digital platforms serving millions of users throughout Europe. You'll report directly to the Group CEO and play a pivotal role in driving growth, unifying strategy, and modernizing marketing operations across B2C segments.

This role is based in Berlin and offers significant strategic influence, ownership, and creative freedom within an agile organization backed by experienced private equity investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide marketing strategy across B2C segments, ensuring consistency, differentiation, and sustainable growth
• Drive brand clarity and architecture, eliminating overlaps and reinforcing unique value propositions across markets
• Overhaul marketing operations to break down silos, streamline tools and processes, and establish centralized excellence
• Establish a performance culture with robust KPIs, media efficiency tracking, and marketing ROI measurement across all channels
• Own and optimize the organization's media strategy, including digital, content, CRM, and offline activation
• Deliver a future-ready AI marketing strategy with immediate applications in campaign automation, personalization, and analytics
• Rebuild influencer and social strategy, aligning with performance goals, customer trust, and brand narrative
• Serve as both strategic advisor and hands-on operator, able to pivot quickly in dynamic market conditions

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant marketing experience, including leadership roles with P&L responsibility
• Proven track record scaling digital business models, ideally with D2C focus (subscription, app, or platform models)
• Deep understanding of modern performance-oriented marketing including search, social, CRM, retention, attribution, funnel optimization, CPO, ROI, and LTV
• Experience in organizational design, complex transformation processes, matrix structures, and international team management
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on approach and strong analytical judgment
• Current knowledge of modern marketing channels and tactics—from TikTok to user-generated content to retention mechanics
• Excellent German and English language skills required
• Experience in private equity environments, buy-and-build structures, or post-merger integration is a strong plus
