Home-Based Cut & Sew Production Coordinator

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential apparel manufacturing client seeking a Home-Based Cut & Sew Production Coordinator in the Philippines. This role serves as the operational bridge between internal product development teams and overseas factory partners, ensuring seamless communication, accurate documentation, and timely project execution across multiple time zones.

As the coordination lead, you'll manage factory communications, track production timelines, coordinate sample development, organize sourcing quotations, and maintain detailed project records. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, clear written and spoken English, and the ability to work flexible hours to support both Asian factory schedules and U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily communication with current and prospective factories via Alibaba, WhatsApp, email, and approved channels; document all exchanges and outcomes
• Coordinate across Chinese factory hours and U.S. business hours using a flexible split schedule with dependable overlap
• Provide clear, timely internal updates summarizing factory status, completed actions, open questions, risks, and decisions needed
• Track each project from sourcing through production and delivery; update trackers after every material change and escalate risks early
• Coordinate product specifications, sample development, revisions, and approvals; send tech packs, measurements, fabric details, and packaging instructions with written acknowledgment
• Source and qualify new factories for apparel, accessories, packaging, and custom products through Alibaba and approved platforms
• Collect complete, comparable quotations including unit costs, minimums, sample fees, setup charges, materials, packaging, and shipping details
• Maintain a current database of every factory relationship, tracking contacts, capabilities, pricing history, minimums, lead times, responsiveness, and quality history

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-2 years of direct experience in promotional products, customer service, or order management roles
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within U.S. operating hours
• Comfortable using Alibaba and WhatsApp for business communication
• Experience maintaining detailed spreadsheets or databases
• Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration abilities

Strongly Preferred Experience:

• Cut-and-sew apparel, overseas manufacturing, product development, purchasing, sourcing, or production coordination
• Familiarity with fabrics, garment construction, trims, labels, packaging, tech packs, measurements, MOQs, sample development, production lead times, quality-control terminology, and international shipping
• Coordinating factories in China or other overseas manufacturing regions
• Supporting a United States-based apparel or consumer-products company
• Experience using Google Workspace

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent work-from-home
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (USA), Monday through Friday
Location: Philippines (remote)
