About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Functional Analyst with expertise in financial risk projects. This remote position is based in Uruguay and offers the opportunity to work on complex banking risk initiatives for an established institution.
Our talent team is looking for an analytical professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation in the specialized domain of market and counterparty risk.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and define functional requirements for risk management systems
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Perform detailed data analysis and validate risk-related calculations
- Review and validate implemented solutions to ensure accuracy
- Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years participating in technology projects within a financial institution
- Recent experience (within the last 5 years) specifically related to market risk and/or counterparty risk
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial derivatives products
- Intermediate proficiency in Python and SQL
- Demonstrated experience in market risk and/or counterparty risk banking projects
