About the Role
This full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Clinical Nurse position with BJC HealthCare is based on-site in Moline Acres, Saint Louis County. The role follows a daytime schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and includes an on-call rotation, with call assignments typically covering two to three days each week plus every third weekend. When on call, nurses are expected to maintain a 30-minute response time to the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, patient-centered nursing care to individuals undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist the care team before, during, and after cath lab procedures while closely monitoring patient status.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to support urgent and emergent cardiac cases, responding promptly within the required timeframe.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow clinicians to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Practice at the full scope of your nursing license while pursuing ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri.
- Availability to work the scheduled day shift along with the on-call and weekend rotation described above.
- Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time to the facility.
