Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential fintech organization building cutting-edge electronic trading infrastructure for institutional markets. As a Business Analyst, you will leverage your front-office fixed income e-trading experience to help shape trader-facing tools and features used in live trading environments.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Working with Product and Engineering teams to translate trading workflows and business problems into clear requirements and deliverable software
- Exploring workflows including RFQ, pricing, price contribution, venue connectivity, auto-negotiation, hedging, and execution
- Identifying edge cases, challenging assumptions, and helping the team make practical product decisions
- Following features from discovery through development and validation to ensure they solve the intended problem
- Acting as the bridge between traders' needs and technical implementation
What We're Looking For
Our talent team is seeking candidates with:
- Substantial experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a bank, working closely and regularly with one or more trading desks market-making fixed income products electronically
- Proven experience gathering traders' requirements and working with designers and developers to build UI and API solutions
- In-depth knowledge of at least one relevant product area, such as Bonds (rates and/or credit) and Interest Rate Swaps
- Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows, including RFQ, D2C and D2D trading, pricing, venues, and venue connectivity
- Familiarity with trading tools and workflows such as auto-negotiation, hedging, and price contribution
- Comfort working with developers and ability to reason through basic logic, algorithms, and pseudocode (developer experience not required)
Bonus qualifications:
- Knowledge across more than one fixed income product or asset class
- Formal background as a fixed income trader

Pay
