We are representing a confidential infrastructure consultancy seeking a Cost Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis in Bristol. This is an immediate-start opportunity supporting a major UK infrastructure programme, where you'll provide cost control, forecasting, and reporting across a complex delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, forecasting and reporting activities across a major infrastructure programme
• Collate, analyse and report cost information in line with project controls processes and governance
• Produce cost reports, dashboards, accruals, forecasts and variance analysis
• Work closely with project controls, commercial and delivery teams to monitor cost performance and identify emerging risks or issues
• Review cost data and challenge information where required to ensure accurate and realistic project updates

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 2-3 years' experience in cost engineering, cost control, project controls or similar project environment
• Ability to communicate cost and performance information clearly to peers and managers
• Strong attention to detail with skills in interpreting and analysing cost data
• Experience supporting cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting or variance analysis
• Good understanding of project controls and cost management principles
• Confident using Excel and cost/project reporting tools
• Full right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Experience on major infrastructure, energy, construction or highly regulated projects
• Knowledge of earned value, forecasting and cost performance reporting
• Understanding of engineering, procurement, forms of contracts and construction
• Knowledge of risk/schedule functions and their interface with cost
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline

Pay and Benefits

Pay via Get A Job.ai: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
