Breast Ultrasound Sonographer (RDMS)

Join BJC HealthCare as a Breast Ultrasound Sonographer (RDMS) at our Manchester location, serving patients at the Barnes Center for Advanced Medicine Breast Center. We're seeking a skilled, compassionate sonography professional to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging and help us advance breast health care in the St. Louis region.

About the Role

This is a full-time day shift position (Monday through Friday) with consistent scheduling and no mandatory holiday coverage—just the possibility of occasional Saturday shifts with premium compensation. You'll work in a dedicated breast imaging environment, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate, patient-focused care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive breast ultrasound examinations using current diagnostic imaging protocols
• Obtain high-quality sonographic images and document findings according to clinical standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing their concerns
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy and appropriate patient follow-up
• Support quality assurance standards and contribute to continuous improvement in breast imaging services
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and related imaging technology

What We're Looking For

• Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential or equivalent certification
• Proven experience in breast sonography and breast ultrasound imaging
• Mammography experience and X-ray certification or experience (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
• Professional demeanor and adaptability in a clinical healthcare setting
