Charge Nurse (RN) – Augusta Urgent Care

About the Role

As a Charge Nurse with our urgent care center, you'll play a vital leadership role in a patient-focused organization committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the communities we serve. You'll combine clinical expertise with supervisory responsibility, managing patient flow, coordinating care, and mentoring nursing staff throughout your shift.

What You'll Do

• Assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on clinical need and urgency
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and conduct clinical procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment, maintaining accurate documentation
• Supervise and support nursing team members, providing clinical guidance and ensuring quality care standards
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean care environment and uphold infection control and safety standards
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions
• Manage nursing station operations and coordinate efficient patient flow through the urgent care center

What We're Looking For

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Experience in urgent care, emergency department, or acute care nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor nursing staff effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare setting
